One of the most beautiful communities in Morocco. Chefchaouen boasts a Spanish-style square surrounded by various arts and crafts and quirky businesses, as well as rooftop restaurants and cafés — where we will eat lunch. We'll spend the night in a local Riad tonight.

    DAY 2

After breakfast, we'll tour you around the "blue city" before heading to Fez. Fez is a lovely city that dates back to the eighth century. Fez is the oldest imperial city in Morocco, with a medina dating back to the 13th century. Trek Morocco Desert Tours will provide you with opportunity to experience the breathtaking vistas of the Rif mountains and medieval medinas.

    DAY 3

After breakfast, you will meet your native medina guide, who will come to pick you up for a tour of Morocco's oldest city. Walking through its tens of thousands of streets and lanes! Please wear comfortable walking shoes and stay with the tour leader. Our tour begins with a visit to the Royal Palace, the Bab Bou Jeloud Gate, the Jewish district, and the first Mellah erected in Morocco in the 16th century. We will ensure that you visit all cultural and historical places, such as the famed Al Qaraouine University, Africa's oldest, the tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and the Mulay Idriss Mausoleum. After lunch, we'll go to the tile cooperative, where we'll have a great perspective of the entire Medina of Fez. Tonight's lodging and meal will be in a nearby Riad.

    DAY 4

With our travel firm Trek Morocco Desert Tours, we will provide you the opportunity to see Meknes by visiting the Roman site of Volubilis and the well-known sight – the doors in the Imperial city.

    DAY 5

Today we travel to Rabat, Morocco's capital. Once there, we will begin our city tour with the Hassan Tower, one of Morocco's oldest mosques. We will also visit the Mohamed V mausoleum, which houses the tombs of the Alaouite sultans Mohamed V and his two sons. We will next drive to the Kasbah Chellah, an antique merinids' Kasbah. We will next go to the coast to see the Kasbah of Oudayaa, a significant art gallery that should not be missed! After the tour, you will have time to have mint tea on one of the terraces near the Kasbah, and if time permits, we will visit the King's palace from the exterior and enjoy the gardens.

    DAY 6

On our journey back with Trek Morocco Desert Tours, you will have the opportunity to explore and see the "blue city" of Chefchaouen, popularly known as Chaouen (pek of mountain). During our journey, we will pass through and drive through the towns and verdant fields of souk Laarbaa Lagharb. We will stop for lunch in Ouazzane before continuing on to Chefchaouen over the Rif Mountains pass.

    DAY 7
